And so it begins...
After living here in the new house for two-thirds of a year, I finally broke down and mowed my very own lawn for the first time ever. Out of the numerous lawnmowers found in the basement when we moved in (one gas, one electric, and two or three push-mowers) I was able to get the gas mower up and running after a few days of tinkering. I feel like Tim Allen.

Note: the piles of branches are from the bushes coming down in preparation for the new garage. Thanks for the use of the chainsaw, Lou. Sabine really enjoyed it.

I'm impressed!! Tinkering is a talent. I remember Dad being furious with gas mowers of our past, because they wouldn't cooperate.
Just as a minor point, the chain saw is mine and you got it from Lou as he had borrowed it from me last year some time.
As I said, a minor point. If you hadn't gotten it from him you'd have gotten it from me.
