Library Internship

Just in case I haven't mentioned it to everyone, I am currently working a three-month paid internship with the Pritzker Military Library in Chicago. It's a really nice small library focusing on military items. So far I've been working on the preliminary stages of a digitization project where we will make digital images of old posters and prints and stuff and have them available in a virtual library. I've also been getting some real world cataloging experience, which should help when I start going on interviews for full-time jobs. There is a small possibility this could evolve into a full-time job, but I'm not planning on it. In the meantime, I'm enjoying the morning commute with Sabine. Her office is only a few blocks away, so we take the same train in and walk together.
