Christkindlmarket 2005

(warning: website has loud annoying christmas music)

Is anybody interested in planning a trip into the city to go to the Chicago Christkindlmarket? It starts next week, November 24th, and runs through December 22nd. There will be the same types of stuff they've had in the past: German musicians, food, spiced wine, etc. The grand opening is on Friday the 25th while people are in town. That's the day of the tree lighting, too. Email or post a comment if you want to check it out.

I think it would be fun. Dad's DATA is in the morning, but we're free the rest of the day. I don't know about Dad, but I'd like to go. Do you know what time the opening ceremonies start?

I'll go. I just need someone to pick me up. :-)

I used to go when I worked in the Loop. Nothing like a super-extended lunch "hour" when the boss is out. There's tons of cool stuff, including awesome imported sausages and mustard.
