Renz Leads NMU Fan Uprising
As the NMU Wildcats began there playoffs, Renz organized the above protest against the U of N, Omaha Mavericks with his friends in section 11. Renz is the fan "behind" the sign roughly at the center of the photo. This photo appeared on the front page of The Mining Journal, on Saturday after the 'Cats beat the Mavericks 4-1.
(Editors Note: Immediately in front of the glass barrier is the Visitor's Bench. The 'Cats won Saturday night's game 3-2, thereby advancing to the semi-finals at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit and eniminating the Mavericks from the playoff.)
