2008 Shamrock Shuffle 8K Race

Today was the 2008 Shamrock Shuffle 8K race. I haven't run it in a few years. The first time was in 1998 when I ran it in 39:05. I ran it again in 2000, but don't know my time off-hand. Today I ran it in 44:29. Luckily the predictions of rain were wrong. It was still fairly cold and overcast, but no rain.

Holy Saturday Lunch

Unfortunately, Boompa was so sick the Holy Saturday lunch had to be moved to LaGrange, and he couldn't attend. We're glad he's feeling better, though.

Easter Preparations

Thanks to Aunt Laura, we have some fun pictures of Jackson coloring eggs with Boompa and Nana.


Can you believe how much snow is outside, considering it's March 21st?

Mad Busman Strikes Again

As he did with his Halloween "Tramp" costume, "Boompa" sought to entertain his bus students today on St. Patrick's Day.

An Impromptu Visit

An impromptu visit at Nanna's one Saturday led to some impromptu playing on the kitchen floor with some improvised band instruments.

Walk & Roll Chicago 2008
