They should have called this one "The Return of The English Patient", as this is film that received high marks from the critics but just didn't click with us.
The first half of the film was interesting as the story shifted around in time and as our understanding (and misunderstanding) of the various characters developed.
Technically the film was very good, with excellent performance by Ralph Fiennes and Rachel Weisz. However ultimately the film seemed a little long and we weren't very satisfied with the resolution of the story.
We recommend a strong cup of coffee before viewing.
