For Your Consideration is the latest movie from Christopher Guest and his troupe of performers. Their earlier movies include Waiting for Guffman, Best in Show, and A Mighty Wind. We didn't like this one as much as the earlier ones, but it was still quirky and funny. The cast of the small Hollywood movie Home for Purim goes a little crazy when Internet rumors about Oscar nominations get everyone's hopes up.

Sabine wanted to see some Juliette Binoche movies, so we got this from NetFlix. Being a French movie, it was a little slower than the movies we're used to, but it was still an enjoyable movie. Juliette Binoche survives a car accident that killed her husband and daughter. While coming to terms with her loss she learns more about a secret life her famous composer husband had.
